Cherishing the Christ this Christmas – December Reading Series

Looking for a meaningful way to begin the Christmas season? Throughout December, our Reading Room will host a special Saturday-morning series titled “Cherishing the Christ this Christmas.” Each week on Saturday at 10:00am, we’ll gather in the Reading Room to read and ponder one of the four Gospels together. All are welcome. 

Event Schedule

  • Saturday, December 6, 10:00am — Gospel of Matthew

  • Saturday, December 13, 10:00am — Gospel of Mark

  • Saturday, December 20, 10:00am — Gospel of Luke

  • Saturday, December 27, 10:00am — Gospel of John

Compassion Drive

Sunday, November 16th through December 21st. Benefitting WCA and Boise Rescue Mission.

WCA: In-Kind Donations and Donation Drives:

In addition to financial support, WCA welcome and appreciate in-kind donations of NEW goods, gift cards, services and expertise.

Boise Rescue Mission: helping homeless men, women, and children right here in the Treasure Valley.

We welcome your donations of food, clothing, furniture, & other items at our Ministry Center/Warehouse in Boise: 

  • 308 S. 24th St (on the corner of 24th and Fairview), Boise, ID 83702

  • Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

  • Closed on holidays

*There are some items we cannot accept such as damaged furniture, used baby toys, cribs, used car seats, kid’s yard toys, medical equipment, older TVs & stereo equipment, mattresses (unless brand new), or tires. For a more complete list, please see our BRMM donation policies below

NAMPA:

Because of limited space, we are only able to accept small donations of food and clothing at our Valley Women & Children’s Shelter at 869 W. Corporate Lane, Nampa.
